Fun fun Fun quizzes! :)

Visited Thea's xanga site and tried out some quizzes posted there..Thanks Therese!! :)

Ok, here goes... :)

You Scored an A

You got 10/10 questions correct.

It's pretty obvious that you don't make basic grammatical errors.
If anything, you're annoyed when people make simple mistakes on their blogs.
As far as people with bad grammar go, you know they're only human.
And it's humanity and its current condition that truly disturb you sometimes.

Cancer - Your Love Profile

Your positive traits:

You're intuitive enough to know what's going wrong in a relationship early on
A total sweetheart - you're often the most caring person anyone knows
You are a generous and devoted parter to whoever you fall in love with

Your negative traits:

Insecurity - you tend to need a huge amount of comforting from your partner
You tend to be overly sensitive and easily hurt, which make loving you difficult
It's difficult to predict your moods. One minute you're up - the next you're down.

Your ideal partner:

Someone equally sensitive, who wants to take time to get to know you deeply
Dreams of an everlasting love - complete with marriage and a family
Loves to take care of you. Being a good cook and masseuse doesn't hurt!

Your dating style:

Slow. You enjoy dates that last all day, with plenty of time to talk and get to know one another.

Your seduction style:

Quite tender and loving, once you are comfortable in your relationship.
Coy. You tend to play it cool to drive your lover wild.
Orally talented - you're known as the best kisser in the zodiac.

Tips for the future:

Be a little less sensitive. Not every little mistake should hurt you.
Spend time away from your partner every so often - independence is a good thing.
Find ways to take care of yourself. You'll be happier if you put yourself first.

Best color to attract mate: Aqua

Best day for a date: Wednesday

Guys Like That You're Sensitive

And not in that "cry at a drop of a hat" sort of way
You just get most guys - even if you're not trying to
Guys find it is easy to confide in you and tell you their secrets
No wonder you tend to get close quickly in relationships!

What People Think of Your Mouth

People see you both as mysterious and exotic.
You definitely have cultivated your own unique interests and lifestyle.
Brainy and quick witted, you aren't one for superficial friendships.
But if someone can make you laugh or think, they'll likely be your friend for life.

You Are a Good Girl

You are 80% Good and 20% Bad
Generally speaking, you're a very good girl.
(But you don't have us totally fooled!)

You Are a Tomboy

You're having too much fun to bother with nail polish and crazy diets.
Guys are instead impressed by how much you know and do!

You Are 48% Independent

Overall, you're a pretty independent woman. You don't follow trends just to fit in.
You've got your own cool thing going on, though you sometimes still care too much about what other's think.

Guys Think You're Easy to Be With... But Not Easy

You're definitely a flirt - and a good one.
But you also know that you shouldn't make a move on any cute guy who passes by.
You save your seductive moves for someone who already knows the real you.
That way, your sex appeal is just part of the whole package.

You Are 48% Girly

You're a little girly, a little boyish, and probably a whole lot indie.
You have your own unique style, and it pretty much defies gender lines.

Your Guy Could Bring You Home

When it comes to meeting the parents, you're cool and calm.
In fact, you're so self assured, you may forget to try to impress them.
Work that famous charm a little more, and your boyfriend's family will be loving you.

DLSU Swap 10-17-07

Finally, I get to meet my Lasallian friends. But I'm really not very contented because considering the number of batchmates who studied in La Salle, I only got to see and talk to a few. The campus was rather big as to what I've expected. They had tall buildings with nice designs. I particularly loved the Yuchengco building, it was like an establishment in Rome. :) Ate with Charm and Nico.. actually they only accompanied me to lunch. I was enjoying my Chicken Strips meal while they were busy studying for their Accounting quiz, but nevertheless, their study was interrupted by occasional chats and laughs. Also met Jaja who was in a hurry for her class. Van surprisingly appeared beside me.. I was really shocked. Haha. It was their U-break and they had a cheer rally sort of thing. Guess what, I went with the flow of people. :)

We attended a talk with Rads Sy on how to become successful. He had a very inspirational story. His talk focused on having a VISION in life. He gave out several quotable quotes and this was one that stuck into my head. "A happy wife is a happy life." He also told the ladies in the room never decide whether you'll have a happy marriage by asking him,"Do you love me?". Hahaha. Coz the answer will always be YES. Instead ask him, "What is your vision?", and if he successfully answers you, then be confident.

After that, we hitched a ride with Lence, a fellow Celadonian. We managed to squish 5 people (3 men and 2 ladies) into a the back seats of a Corolla for about two hours. We were literally sardined. Good thing the aircon was functioning well or else I would imagine fog inside the car. Traffic almost killed us. I caught some sleep on the way home. We finally reached home at around 7pm. Whoo! What a day!

I'll be back to school on Monday. Glee Club Rehearsals. Can't wait for October 25 to come for my First Sem grades! :)

Hello SemBreak!! Short recap of happenings...

Wwweeeeee.. finals week is finally over, can't wait to watch those pending movies..\ :)) Gosh, can't believe one sem is already over. Hmm... I'm 9 years and 6 months away from being a doctor! Haha. Many things happened from the last time I've posted. It has been 2 months! Well, to start off, I got addicted in watching the UAAP Season '70 league. I watched 3 live ADMU-DLSU games.. cheered my hearts out! Almost lost my throat! hahaha. Every game was really worth the CUT! haha. I had to cut P.E. once.. good thing nothing important happened that session. The Blue Eagles didn't reach the championship games. Owell, this is cliche-ic but still, "WIN or LOSE it's the SCHOOL we CHOOSE!" . Eric Salamat and Nonoy Baclao Rocks! Anyway, I'll just make another post for the Blue Eagles.

Going back, let us start with the academics. General Biology is killing me! I really have a hard time in Biology Lec and Lab.. Math was fine, except that the teacher sucks! Ggrrr.. I really hate her! Because of her, I lost my chance of getting an A in Math. English was as usual boring. But in fairness, the teacher was great. She was able to make the subject UN-boring. She always gave homeworks and group activities. I honestly learned a lot from her. I successfully accomplished two major tasks - group and individual reporting. Fil was ok. We had a quiz every meeting but it wasn't that hard compared to the other classes who had projects and plays. We only had two Long Tests/Midterms and Finals! We weren't required of the textbook Hulagpos, although we needed to read two LONG AND BORING novels! Results will be out on the 25th. Can't wait! :)

My social life is fine. Had many new Ateneo friends. Ateneans are friendlier than what I've expected! :) My block is basically made up of nerds! HAHA. in a good way that is. :D Only ONE of my TWENTY blockmates was constant in watching Live UAAP games. HAHA. Mind you, she's a SHE! and she's a dormer so basically she goes with the dormers. Sasy and some of her blockmates became my companions in every game. Joined the Ateneo Glee Club. It was fun at the same time tiring. We have 3-hour rehearsals twice a week. Wheew! Anyway, our hardwork will sure be paying off when we will be singing in five-star hotels and caroling!! FUN FUN FUN! =) Also joined the Fil-Chi org named Ateneo Celadon. Played dice game and won A pig speaker and radio! :) I'm also joining the DLSUswap whivh will be sometime next week. Sooo excited! DLSU friends, reunion na 'to!!! :) Parties are here and there. Can't wait for the next party on Sat! :)

I've been craving for more and more food the past few days. Well, that maybe because the brain needs extra food when it overworks. HEHEHE. I have this sudden realization that food is delicious and that buffets are really enjoying! :) HAHAHA. I sure hope that I will still remain the way I look before. :)) I have many plans in mind this 1-month sem break. Besides Glee Club... 1. Totally lots and lots of SLEEP!! I need to recover from my lack of sleep. 2. EATTT!!! Food is love. 3. Watch movies!! :)) 4. Read HP? este Continue reading?? I know I know, it's embarrassing to be stuck in Book 4! HAHAHA. LOL. 5. Play lots and lots of pc games! :) Study? Nah...

This ends my first post this sem break. Expect more to come! :) DLSU peeps, see ya when I see ya! :)

Now this is the hell week...

This week is so totally the famous HELL WEEK. We've got 3 LTs all in one week. Besides that, we still have the Bio term paper which really freaks me out because I still haven't got any topic yet, and it's due by the second week of September!! Waaah! We had Fil LT today. I got a D!!! I scored 30/50, multiply it by two equals 60. 60% equals a D!!! and 61% is C!! So close!! Argh, I hope our prof would be so kind and give us some consideration. :) Anyway, D was the average rating of the class. I think only two or three got a C or C+.. Gosh, they're good.

Math LT tomorrow. I can't understand one topic!! Nooo!! Anyway, got a B+ last LT, hope I could maintain that grade until the end of the semester. :)

Glee club rehearsals tomorrow! I feel pretty nervous.. Sir Les is out to get me!! First his temper, then his harsh words! Whoooh! I have thoughts of quitting. :(

Spending most of my breaks at Matteo this week. I sure hope this week would end soon.

Everybody's busy. From DLSU to UP students. Well, good luck to us all! God bless!!

Love or Infatuation? INFATUATION!!

After the Admu vs Feu game last Sunday, I became an official fan of Chris Tiu. Ya, they lost.. but if you only seen C.T. play! All his shots were like soo "swak"! Even if he had some misses.. I still love the way he shoots those free throws and 3-pt. shots whenever he gets hold of the ball. :))

Monday came and before going home, I saw Sasy. She said that she was going to SOM mall to wait for someone. I was with my cousin then. We sat with Sasy and chatted while waiting for THAT someone. After around 30 mins., guess who we saw! CHRIS TIU!! Waaahhhh!! He was on his way to his stall at SOM mall. :D Sasy told me that he would always be around SOM mall during afternoons. After that meet, I was crazy over him!!! It's like I wanted to see him again, somewhat like an addiction!!!

Anyway, something good happened again yesterday. I saw him for the second time! Weeeeehh.. It's like we're destined or something! hahaha joke! He was again visiting his stall. I was so tempted to order something there, considering the fact that I just ordered something before he came!!

He is my ultimate inspiration!! I mean, no one in my entire life has ever drove me on going to school just by the looks/presence! Uhh.. that sounded weird. Haha.. hope someone gets me!! :))

No classes on Friday! Yey!! Bio LONG quiz and Eng midterms postponed to Monday!! Yahoo!! :))

GO ATENEO!! ONE BIG FIGHT!!

July 26, 2007. Thursday. - 10am. I was at school. Almost everyone was wearing shirts colored either BLUE or WHITE. I didn't attend my PE class and I went to Araneta Center Gateway to window shop with my cousin. We were supposed to find an "office attire" for her English reporting. We went in almost all stores in gateway. We also fitted some blouses and tees which we liked. :) We visited Esprit, Folded and Hung, Mango, Kamiseta, Bench, Celine, Bayo (they had a sale.. too bad they didn't had a size for the shirt I want), People are People, Kashieca. We also visited Shoe Salon. Their footwear were so comfy to wear! I would be very glad to have one! Hmm.. does that mean I have to start dieting?? :)) After all the window shopping, we got home buying nothing but two slices of pizza on our way home.

We got home just in time for the Ateneo vs De la salle game. Actually we weren't sure which channel it was. We kept changing from rpn 10, studio 23, channel 4 until we realized that it was actually airing on channel 17. (Sky Cable) hahaha.. By the time we switched to channel 17, it was already the second quarter. La salle was leading that time, but at the end of the second quarter, the two teams were tied to 30-30. We watched the game while eating popcorn and drinking Coke Sakto! The bottle of the drink was soo cute!! :) Anyway, as third quarter started, the game started to heat up. Fouls were happening succeedingly and free throws was how La salle got their points. :) peace! :)During the game, both the coaches and the players had some misunderstandings. It was quite exciting seeing them fight in front of the camera. :)) Anyway, Ateneo ended the game with 77-80. All I can say now is.. "I LOVE CHRIS TIU!!!!" He's my total idol!!! <3 <3 <3 hahaha The guy has brains, looks and talent! What more can you ask for?!?! hahaha..

After the game, I was quite regretting why I didn't risk my time queueing to buy tickets for the game. Owell, I'll just watch it live during the championship games. :))

"HELL" week?

This week is the so called "HELL" week.

Monday. We had a Bio lab exam which was so very duper hard! Imagine viewing more than 10 slides of plant and animal cells and tissues and identifying and giving their functions?? sheesh, I'm now starting to regret why I chose to be a Science major. I swear that if I fail one for Bio LT, I'm going to shift to some other non-sci major course.

We had a math LT today and i for a difficulty rate of 1-10, 10 being the highest, i would probably give it a 7. It wasn't easy as pie, at the same time it wasn't that hard either. I kinda doubt my answer on one work problem. But the rest was fine. Argh, I do hope that some action be done regarding our math teacher. I really don't learn anything from her. I'm quite glad that she'll be on leave for the next few days. I prefer the substitute teacher's/student's (He looks so young that we presume that he is a math major student) teaching technique. He manages the class well and I barely fall asleep during his period.

That's it for now. Dlsu vs Admu tom. I'm skipping PE class in order to get home just in time for the game! Go Ateneo! :))

Argh..what a way to ruin my career...

Argh... we're going to visit UP tomorrow.. at around 4pm, we will be on a jeep on our way to the campus. Guess what, I'm not at all excited.. not that I don't want to meet some of my batchmates there, it's just that the sched totally clashes with my GC rehearsals!! argh, speaking of having a good impression..

Today was a rather good day. Although it started a little rough, ( well, something happened that made me hate someone **note: it happened at school), it ended fairly well. Mom brought home some goodies which I loved so very uber much! :)

Bio lab was fine. All we did was to peek through the microscope. Well, after 3 hours of "microscoping", it left our eyes involuntarily winking. Especially Rina. :D the tissues looked fab!

18 is the number!

Wah.. I'm a fully-grown adult today! Happy birthday to me! :) Through the years, I've been wondering why people celebrate their birthdays.. well for me I really feel sad whenever I turn one year older.. not today though..

Today I really felt appreciated and valued. The other day, I was thinking, today would probably just like any other day.. except I'm older and must be more mature. But today was definitely the case. Many actually remembered this day and I really thank them for that!

I'm very very very happy.. as in this is the happiest day of my life not because of the gifts I recieved but because of all the greetings I recieved from everyone! I don't really care who greeted the earliest or the latest, as long as he/she remembers is enough for me.. :D I really glad coz not only old friends but even some "newly-acquired" friends remembered it! :) I'm really really happppppyyyyyyyyy........ wwwwwhhhhhhhheeeeeeee.........

Recieved some gifts from both friends and family.. All I can say is thank you guys and I love you all!

Recent happenings

Dreamt about HIM last night. By HIM, I mean my crush. :) Won't elaborate much about my dream. It might be a clue for you guys and that will totally ruin my life!! Anyway, in this dream, I doubted his honesty. He was texting this other girl while he was being so sweet to me. Does this mean that he wasn't merely a crush?!? My right mind is currently battling with my dreamy mind. My right's mind: " Nicole, it's just a dream..." My dreamy mind: " Nicole, dreams may come true..." :))

It's amazing how love can inspire people. Whenever I get dreams like this, I tend to be positive and be happy for the rest of the day. :D Yeah, I get happy for these very shallow reasons. There is a saying that love can move mountains. But, is it still applicable up to this day? It seems that all love affairs I know of ends with break ups and the two sides having difficulty coping with it. O well, I just wish that I could be lucky in my love life. :)

It was my uncle's birthday last night. Ate at Cabalen located at the new Trinoma mall. The mall's name means "Triangle north of market". Special thanks to my brother for sharing it! The mall was fabulous! SM North Edsa will die soon. It was like MoA, just not that far away from home. It was still under construction but some boutiques were already open to serve. Dad quite liked the mall. He said that almost every good brand is opening there. I guess that this would be our most frequent "tambayan" for the next few months. My family's planning to go to Trinoma again next Sunday. ( See what I mean?!) This time to window shop. During our trip last night, we already visited 3 stores. They were all good. I particularly liked one item from each store. It was almost unbearable. I was about to tell my mom if the item looked good when my dad told us all to hurry up because we might be late for the family dinner. Aww, anyway, that's the reason why we're going back next week.

You guys might be wondering why I am posting this early, it's just because internet is only available either before 9am or after 10pm since only my dad's laptop is capable of connecting through the internet. Enrollment today! I might get lost in ADMU! That would be a complete disaster 'cause everything will be delayed. Wish me luck! :)

Random Thoughts

It was raining real hard these past few days. Guess it's the start of the rainy season. Summer's over and that means school's about to start again. I remember last year, this time of the year, I was so busy reviewing for the upcoming entrance exams. I was so scared that I wouldn't pass Ateneo which was then my dream school. Don't get me wrong, up to now, I still feel so happy that I've passed Ateneo. I just can't say that it's still a dream school since it isn't a dream anymore! :) I hope I can stay long in my course. :) Got my block assignments last night. Block XX1! Hoping for a great year for all of us! I'm so eager to meet them all! hmm... 8 days to go! :)) Hay, I am still missing my high school friends. Having dreams of my FOUR-BEE class. Both daydreams and the normal dreams. :) I wish that we could have a reunion or something. Maybe a second retreat! Oh yeah, I'm really looking forward to the first saturday mass at SJ! Finally, the feeling of being part of the alumni and everyone welcoming you back! hahaha.. hope that it'll be that way too with our batch. Considering most of the teachers and administrators hate us! whahahaha LOL :))

Insomnia Attacks

These past few days, I've been suffering from insomnia. I just can't fall asleep! I envy those people who sleep all day and can still sleep at night. Wow, they sure are sleep lovers! When I can't sleep at night, I usually do these worthwhile things. Read on! :)

  • One. Read a book. I find it very comfortable to read a book during this time of the night. Everyone's asleep. I can feel the silence and the serenity of the place. The thing is, my time isn't wasted. I already finished a book that I only read during nighttime. :)
  • Two. Listen to music. Any genre would do. As long as it's not rock! Com'on, who would listen to rock music in the middle of the night?! By the way, this is the most common thing that makes me fall asleep. :) But still, it takes a long time. :P
  • Three. Write a blog entry on paper. I write any topic on my mind. Like, the day's happenings, future goals... blah blah... :)
  • And the last and least worthwhile thing I do... DAYDREAM! Maybe this is the reason behind me having out-of-this-world dreams! :)) (refer to previous blog entries) :)

Anyway, anyone who has an advice in mind could just comment! Thanks in advance! :)

An Afternoon Spent with Cousins

May 26, 2007 Cloudy Rainy Saturday -

Went with my cousin to the park inside our subdivision. We were supposed to drop by my aunt's house on the way to the park to invite my other cousin to join us to the park but he was asleep. By the time we reached the entrance, a stray dog was approaching us. It scared us half dead! Whoo! Anyway, we entered by using the other opening. We climbed the monkey bars and took pics. Then we went to the see-saw and the swing and took some pics as well. After the picture-taking activity, we went back to my aunt's house to visit my uber cute cousin! I was so lucky because she was in a good mood that time. :) We got home just in time the rain fell. Whoo! What a good timing! :P Here are some pics. Enjoy! :)

Reminiscing the Good Old Scouting Days

Last night while listening to the radio, I heard of the song by Edwin McCain entitled "I'll Be". It was the theme song of the PL's batch 2003-2004. As I enjoyed the song, I began recalling the happy moments I encountered the first time I joined the Scouting movement. I was a real freshie back then. Although I was struggling to adapt to high school life, to learn the scouting skills like Sago and commanding, to get along with fellow scout officers, I didn't feel the difficulty. I was having fun. I met friends who were real and worth keeping. I felt that I was really part of the Scouting Family. Even if the training was very tiring and exhausting, it was worth all the effort because by the end of the day, you'll really gain friends that will accept and keep you in their hearts.
When I left scouting and joined the varsity, I have to admit that a great portion of the Thursday load was cut short, but so did the fun and excitement I had in scouting. Yeah, I could be absent anytime and all I get is scolding, I could be late and still get scolding, and ONLY scolding. My P.E. grades won't really be affected at all. But, honestly, it's not worth all the friends I had in scouting. And now, being an "ex-scout officer/staff", I really feel so awkward and out of place when I'm with them. Hmm.. is there any way I could get the bond back? That invisible bond that made me join scouting for three years. I hope I can but I doubt it.

Do dreams come true?

These past few days, I am really bothered with my dreams. My mind was thinking deeply of what these dreams may symbolize. Allow me to share these dreams to you.

Last night, I dreamt of an old friend. We met at the Prep bldg of SJ. She was at the faculty finishing some stuff of her brother. It seemed like she was busy with the clearance of her brother. On the other hand, I was there because our senior class had a reunion and I had to leave early. We were both waiting for the elevator to the ground floor but unfortunately it was broken. So we were forced to take the stairs. That time, we had the time to chat. She told me that she would be staying here for good and that she’ll be enrolling at UP this June. If I could remember correctly, she is taking up Advertising (is there such a course?). As soon as we reached the ground floor, everything was back to normal.

The other night, I dreamt that a 30- year old guy and I (17 years old) were dating! Woo! He seemed very young for his age. He looked as if he just turned 20!! He was semi bald (nothing to do with his age) and he had this very charming smile. I must admit that he was really looking fantastic and very cute! Our eyes literally met! I had this feeling that we were destined to be together!

Wahh.. what’s happening?! Sheesh! I’m in love with the man in my dreams! This is soo crazy! I must stop. He is just a dream and dreams don’t come true. Quit thinking about him and face reality.

the sudden urge of blogging

Way back two years ago, I was introduced to blogger. At that time, I didn't feel the need to write blogs. I thought, why write when I can just tell all my problems to my friends and family? I often abandoned my blog, resulting to numerous blog addresses that are invalid after only a few weeks time.
But, after all I went through in that two years-fights, misunderstandings, heartbreaks, deaths and the like- I suddenly realized that not everyone is interested in my rants and problems. Not everyone has the willingness to listen to every single word I say and really help fix things up. Thus, I decided to come up with a blog to write anything-problems, happy moments, hardships etc- anything I want to say but can't because no one wants to hear them.
I don't mind if no one reads my blogs because anyway it'll just waste his/her precious time. But special appreciation will be given to those who really take time to read and comment. A million thanks to you all.
